Development (Student Web Core)

The Student Web Core Service employs students to produce course Web sites and other educational technology projects. These students are available for hire at a reduced fee.

The students, hired and trained by the Digital Media Center (DMC) and Academic and Distributed Computing Services (ADCS), work under the direction of a full-time DMC consultant to produce your educational technology project. The consultant manages the project and provides instructional design assistance to you and to the student worker. The student performs the multimedia production work and demonstrates to you how to maintain your Web site.

Service Fees

Student Web Core Services are available to University faculty members and course instructors creating educational technology projects.

An initial consultation meeting with an instructional multimedia consultant and the student is free. Student work is then billed at a rate of $28 per hour.
