Background

B.M. at UW-Stevens Point, M.M.E. at Indian University, and A.Mus.D in Instrumental Conducting at University of Arizona. Nineteen years as band director, percussion instructor, music theory and music appreciation instructor in public schools and colleges. I have taught in Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, and Minnesota. I'm presently serving as Adjunct Instructor for Percussion at UM-Morris. Three years as PC/LAN instructor at Brown Institute of Technology (now Brown College) for Macintosh, UNIX, and Windows operating systems, HTML basics, and networking technologies/topologies. I have been here with OIT/Academic Computing/UTTC since March 2004.

I enjoy my role with UTTC where I can do classroom instruction to inform and help others with our newer learning technologies. For a change from work I like to do activities outdoors, such as camping, hiking, bike riding and working in my yard. I also perform with the Minnesota Symphonic Winds (local concert band) and Reformation Brass (brass and percussion ensemble) to satisfy my percussion playing interests.
