educational technologies and Public Engagement
The Morrill Act of 1862 (also known as the Land-Grant Bill) permanently endowed the University of Minnesota for the purpose of promoting "the liberal and practical education" of Minnesota's citizens. This panel will explore how technology might best be used to support the University's land-grant mission by improving access to learning, enhancing community participation, promoting civic engagement, and supporting efforts to improve the well-being of our communities and citizens.
