"Pictures of Practice" Case Studies of Online Teaching
Beginning in the spring of 2005, we conducted case studies of the practices of University of Minnesota faculty members who have found innovative ways to use WebVista, and educational technology more generally, to support teaching and learning.
The purpose was to examine:
- how faculty members go about planning to teach online;
- how faculty members use online tools to achieve their teaching and student learning goals; and
- how faculty members assess learning and teaching when using online course elements.
