Senior IT Professional
I am an instructional technologist, supporting UNITE and assisting Institute of Technology faculty teach with technology for face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses. This position is classified as a Collegiate Informational Technology Professional, funded by the Institute of Technology and the University's Office of Informational Technology.
Background
I received an M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction (program: Instructional Technology) from the University of Northern Iowa. My experience includes as an Instructional Designer/Program Manager for online programs and courses at South Central College, Educational Technology Consultant with the University of Minnesota's Digital Media Center and Center for Teaching and Learning Services, Instructional Designer at Highline Community College and Educational Technologist at Claremont McKenna College.
Further back in time, I worked as a Multimedia Producer, Video Coordinator and Writer for the Industrial Site Location Program, (Web page is from 1996, the last year of the program, courtesy of the WayBack Machine), a business and community outreach program at the University of Northern Iowa and as a Creative Services Writer/Producer at KIMT-TV3.
